Once upon a time...

There was a boy named Leo who loved to play guitar. His school announced a talent show. His friend Emma asked him to perform.

"Leo, you're so good at guitar! Perform with us!" said Emma.

Leo shook his head. "No way. I'm too scared."

That night, Leo thought about it.

He loved playing music.

But performing in front of everyone?

His heart raced just thinking about it.

The next day...

"Leo, you know what courage is?" asked his teacher.

"It's doing something even when you feel scared."

Leo took a deep breath.

"You're right. I'm going to do it."

Talent show day!

Leo walked on stage. His hands shook.

He saw Emma in the front row. She smiled at him.

He played.

The first note came out. Then the song flew.

Leo forgot to be scared. He just played.

When he finished, the crowd cheered!

Leo felt amazing. He had done it!

After, Emma hugged him.

"You were brave! I'm proud of you!"

Leo smiled big.

He learned: courage feels like doing something scared.

And that feels better than anything.
